ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

Sunday, August 6, 2023
2023 polls will be open from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the 
Junior Fair Building, Wood County Fairgrounds.
All 2023 Society Members 18 and over will be eligible to vote in the election with the purchase of a Membership Ticket. You must present a Membership ID card and photo ID. See constitutional provisions regarding candidates and the election.


2023 MEMBERSHIP TICKETS
On Sale as Follows: Dec. 15, 2022 until July 26, 2023.  Tickets can be purchased in person in the fair office at the Wood County Fairgrounds Administration Building.

General Fairboard Policies

  • No pets allowed on fairgrounds

  • No Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller Blades, Or Roller Skates Allowed On The Fairgrounds During The Fair

  • NO WEAPONS in BUILDINGS

  • The Wood County Fair, its agents, servants, and employees shall not be held liable in case of injury to exhibitors, concessionaires, or the public on the grounds or in the buildings from any cause whatsoever while on the grounds of the Wood County Fair.

  • Every possible protection and courtesy will be extended to all at the Wood County Fair, but the Wood County Fair Board / Wood County Agricultural Society will not be responsible for any loss or exhibits, animals, or equipment in case of fire, theft, or from loss from any other cause.

  • The committee and fair board cannot be responsible for exhibits lost, damaged or left at the fair, however, exhibits will be protected as much as possible.

  • No Laser Beams Articles Of Any Type Allowed On The Fairgrounds

  • No political posters or displays permitted outside of booths and/or political buildings.

Solicitations

No person shall be permitted to make solicitation of any nature on the Fairgrounds except in contracted concession or commercial rented spaces. No person will be permitted to post or display signs, distribute handbills or advertise material or sell or distribute free, any merchandise, except persons working within four (4) feet of their contracted area.
