Camping and Parking

Parking Regulations

  • Parking in the fairgrounds parking lots will be free, and there will be a limited amount of parking on the fairgrounds with proper sticker.

  • No parking on campsites other than your own. Vehicles in campground must be parked completely on the grass and off of the driveway. Vehicles parked on other people’s campsites or park on the driveway will be towed at owner’s expense. Extra vehicles must be parked in general parking areas.

  • Vehicles parked near barns or in “No Parking Areas” will be towed at owner’s expense.

  • Vehicles parked inside of perimeter fence after 10:00 a.m. will be towed at owner’s expense.

  • The parking area on the north grounds with entrances from Brim Road & Haskins Road provides ample space for all livestock exhibitors to park their vehicles. This includes cars, trucks and trailers. All need to park north of campers.

  • The general public that parks on the grounds should also enter from Brim Road or Haskins. Vehicles should be parked in the designated lot to the east of the campers.

  • HANDICAPPED PARKING will be available in the South parking lot off Poe Road in the front row.

  • DELIVERY VEHICLES should use Gate A off Haskins Road.

  • There will be no traffic from the north fence south to Poe Road, after 11 a.m. daily.

  • Parking will be reserved on west side of the Administration Building for emergency vehicles.

  • Anyone needing information on where they should park can get that information at the Fair Office in the Central Administration Building.

  • Parking will not be permitted in the marked fire lanes. Vehicles parked in fire lanes will be towed.

  • The Wood County Fair Board is not responsible for any damage to or loss of items left in vehicles.

  • There will be no parking of any vehicles in the area around the Sheep barns.

  • There will be no parking on the north side of the Swine barn, or any of the other cattle barns.

  • There will be no parking of any vehicles in the area around the Dairy and Goat barns.

  • There will be no parking along the road in front of the Horse barns.

  • These vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.

  • Commercial exhibitors should park in the lot south of Poe Road.

a. All campground roads are fire lanes – no parking.
b. All other posted parking regulations.
c. Two (2) permitted vehicles per campsite.
